Lahore (Web Desk) – The Punjab Boards Intermediate Part II results 2025, announced on September 18, have once again underscored the dominance of private sector colleges and the consistent academic brilliance of female students across the province.
Out of 335 top positions awarded by the nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) — including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and Dera Ghazi Khan — private institutions clinched 283 positions, accounting for a staggering 84% of the total. In comparison, government and semi-government institutions could secure only 52 positions (16%).
Punjab Colleges on Top
The Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) emerged as the undisputed leader, securing 143 top positions. This represents 51% of all achievements by private institutions, reaffirming Punjab Colleges’ status as the leading force in intermediate education across Punjab.
Officials from PGC credited this success to the hard work of students, dedication of faculty, and the institution’s academic environment, vowing to continue raising the bar in education standards.

Female Students Outshine Once Again
Just like previous years, female students outperformed male students across all streams and categories — whether in regular institutions or private setups. Their continued success highlights the importance of investing in girls’ education, with families increasingly recognizing that empowering daughters through education drives not just personal success but also social progress.
With private colleges taking the lead and female students breaking barriers, the HSSC 2025 results showcase a promising future for Punjab’s academic landscape. The achievements are not just numbers but a testament to the transformative power of education in shaping the province’s next generation of leaders.
