Why It Matters
This project is part of Punjab’s wider plan to expand modern transport facilities across the province. Just yesterday, CM Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the Green Electric Bus Service in Mianwali, and Wazirabad is the next stop.
By providing safe, affordable, and sustainable travel, the government aims to uplift urban mobility while tackling rising pollution levels.
What’s Next?
Maryam Nawaz announced that the electric bus service will gradually expand to other districts, ensuring that more cities get access to modern travel facilities in the coming months.
