A viral notification making rounds on social media claims that citizens who refuse to take the HPV cancer vaccine will have their Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) payments stopped.
However, the claim has been declared completely false by Sindh government spokesperson Sadia Javed.
❌ The Reality
-
Neither the Sindh government nor the federal government has issued any such order.
-
BISP is a federal program, and provincial governments have no authority to stop or suspend its payments.
-
The misinformation campaign around the HPV vaccine is being linked to malicious efforts to discourage vaccination.
🔴 Official Clarification
According to Sadia Javed:
“This fake propaganda is harming the government’s efforts to protect young girls from cancer.”
She further added that she has spoken with BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid, who also expressed serious concern over the circulation of this misleading notification.
📌 Conclusion
The circulating notification is fake. Citizens are advised not to believe in social media rumors and to rely only on official government sources or the BISP website for authentic updates.
